You can find TM86 Grass Knot behind the Fortree City Gym. The path to the TM can be accessed by following the narrow path on the left side of the Gym.
However, you’re also going to need the Devon Scope to get past the invisible Kecleon blocking the path to the Gym in the first place.
Prerequisites
- Have access to Fortree City
- Have the Devon Scope
Location
After you get the Devon Scope, head back to Fortree City’s Pokémon Center and we’ll show you how to reach this TM.
Step 1: Make your way east and climb the nearby ladder leading to the treehouse.
Step 2: From the treehouse platforms, head east by crossing the connecting bridges.
Step 3: On the third treehouse counting from the left, climb down the ladder. You should see a golden Poké ball on the ground as you climb down.
Step 4: After getting down, reveal the Kecleon blocking your path with the Devon Scope (or if you’ve already done this then skip ahead).
Step 5: Make your way to the Gym’s left side, and then pass through the opening all the way on the left. Continue along this hidden path going north.
Step 6: Once you reach the end of the path you can pick up the TM for Grass Knot.
