To get TM80 Rock Slide, you’ll need to reach a small island surrounded by rocks on Route 134. You can reach the island by starting at Pacifidlog Town and Surfing through the western water currents that lead to the TM’s exact location.
Prerequisites
- Access to Pacifidlog Town
- A Pokémon that knows HM03 Surf
Location
Once you’re ready, make your way to Pacifidlog Town to get started.
Step 1: From the town’s Pokémon Center, start heading west by walking along the wooden logs.
Step 2: Once you reach the end of the path, start surfing towards the west. Surf in this direction until you exit the town.
Step 3: Once you’re on Route 132, continue surfing westward on the water.
Step 4: Upon reaching some water currents, turn and go directly south.
Step 5: Keep going down and then ride the southernmost water current near the rocks (pictured below).
Step 6: This water current will drop you off on a small island. Right after landing on the island, surf onto the water current beneath you.
Step 7: Ride this particular current to eventually reach Route 133.
Step 8: When you can move again, you should find yourself on an island with multiple trainers.
Find the water current that’s furthest down from land (pictured below) on this island and surf onto that.
Step 9: This will drop you off onto a sandbar. From here, surf onto the middle water current at the water’s edge.
Step 10: Then when this drops you into a small square patch of water, head up and take the last water current in the northwest corner here (it’ll be just left of a brown rock in the water).
Step 11: When this current drops you off, you’ll be able to reach the isolated part of the route with the island surrounded by rocks. Continue surfing west through the narrow path here to reach the island.
Step 12: Eventually you should be able to loop around in a circle and follow a path to reach the small island with the TM.
Just go around the rock formations and you’ll be able to land on the island to pick up the Rock Slide TM in the middle.
