You can find TM34 Sludge Wave on a small island in Route 132, which is a water route west of Pacifidlog Town. To get there, you simply Surf west from Pacifidlog Town’s Pokémon Center.
Prerequisites
Before you attempt to explore Route 132 for the Sludge Wave TM, make sure you have the following prerequisites:
- Access to Pacifidlog Town
- A Pokémon with HM03 Surf
Location
When you’re ready, fly to Pacifidlog Town to get started.
Step 1: From the town’s Pokémon Center, start heading west.
Step 2: Surf here and continue heading west to exit the town.
Step 3: Up ahead are the currents that take you to certain parts of the route. From here, continue surfing west.
Step 4: When you can see the water currents, start moving downwards (you’ll be moving alongside the currents, but not moving into them yet).
Step 5: Hop on any of the water currents marked below.
Step 6: As you’re riding the current, you shouldn’t be able to move. Eventually you’ll find yourself on a small island with a trainer that you can choose to battle or skip.
Step 7: Once you’re on the island, move to the western side and ride the next water current directly behind the trainer. Check the highlighted area in the screenshot below for exactly where you should surf.
Step 8: You’ll eventually land on a small sand bar with TM34 in the middle.
