TM22 Solar Beam can be obtained inside the Safari Zone, which is located on Route 121. The TM is hidden deep inside the Safari Zone, so you’ll need your Mach Bike and a Pokémon that knows Surf to get it.
Prerequisites
- Obtain the sixth Gym Badge from Winona in Fortree City
- Explore Route 120 to access the Safari Zone
- Have a Pokémon that knows Surf
- Have the Mach Bike
Location
Once you’re ready, head to Route 121’s west entrance to get started.
Step 1: Start by going east past the two trainers on Route 121.
Step 2: Enter the Safari Zone building on the right by using HM01 Cut. If you don’t have Cut, you can follow the path heading south instead.
Step 3: Go through the building’s backside exit in the top-left corner.
Step 4: Use your Mach Bike and immediately turn left.
Step 5: Head up the muddy slope and turn left again.
Step 6: Go down the muddy slope in front of you on the left-hand side.
Step 7: Continue following the path heading north.
Step 8: Then follow the path on the left, also still going north.
Step 9: Eventually you will reach a body of water. Use Surf to cross to the other side.
Step 10: Keep going east, then use Surf once more on a small body of water. This will bring you to a landing with TM22 on the ground.
