You can find TM18 Rain Dance on the deck of Sea Mauville, a half-sunken ship located north of Route 108. To access Sea Mauville you’re going to need a Pokémon with Surf.
Prerequisites
While you need HM07 Dive to explore Sea Mauville fully, you won’t need it to get the Rain Dance TM. Here’s what you need:
- The fifth Gym Badge from Petalburg City to use Surf outside of battle
- A Pokémon that knows Surf
Location
If you haven’t been to Sea Mauville yet, head to the beach on Route 109 to get started.
Step 1: Use Surf near the shore by the docks.
Step 2: Surf going southwest until you end up on Route 108.
Step 3: When you’re in Route 108, head west.
Step 4: Then head north to reach Sea Mauville’s entrance.
Step 5: Surf over to the side of the ship.
Step 6: Head up to the ship’s deck.
Step 7: Turn right, past the entrance to the ship’s interior.
Step 8: The TM for Rain Dance should be along the staircase here.
