Slateport City – Name Rater
The Name Rater, located in a house northwest of the Slateport City Pokémon Center, can change the nickname of any of your Pokémon – provided you are their Original Trainer (OT). Pokémon received through trades cannot have their nicknames changed.
Slateport City – EV Checker
The EV Checker, a Pokémon Breeder located in the middle-left stall of Slateport Market, can check if the Pokémon leading your party has maxed out its Effort Values (EVs).
If your Pokémon’s EVs are maxed out, the EV Checker will award it the Effort Ribbon.
Mauville City – Pokémon Reflexology Services
The Pokémon Groomer, found in the western hallway of Mauville City, can provide a massage once a day to one of the Pokémon in your party, boosting its happiness/friendship value. The less friendly the Pokémon is, the greater the boost it will receive.
Verdanturf Town – Happiness Checker
The Happiness Checker, located in the southwest corner of Verdanturf Town, can gauge your Pokémon’s happiness/friendship value.
She’ll let you know just how friendly your leading party Pokémon is using various statements.

Fortree City – Hidden Power Checker
The Hidden Power Checker, located inside the second northwest treehouse in Fortree City, can reveal the type of your Pokémon’s Hidden Power.
Inside, talk to the woman on the right and select a Pokémon from your party to find out its Hidden Power type.
Fortree City – Secret Base Avatar Changer
The Super Secret Base Guild, located in the southeast corner treehouse of Fortree City, has a Pokémon Ranger who can change your character’s avatar that appears in your Super Secret Base.

Battle Resort – IV Checker
The IV Judge, an Ace Trainer in the Battle Resort’s Pokémon Center, can check your Pokémon’s Individual Values (IVs). Talk to him and choose a Pokémon from your party to receive statements about the approximate range of its IVs.
His first statement pertains to your chosen Pokémon’s overall potential:

Then, the IV judge will tell you the stat with the highest IVs. If the Pokémon has two or more stats that are equally good, he will list all of those as well.
Lastly, he will describe the value of the Pokémon’s highest IV/s. The IV Judge will also make a special comment if any stat has exactly 0 IVs.

Move Tutors
There are a variety of Move Tutor NPCs in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. Below we’ve listed them all, organized by location.
Fallarbor Town – Move Reminder
The Move Maniac, also known as the Move Reminder, is located in the northwestern part of Fallarbor Town.
He can teach your Pokémon any forgotten moves from their learnset for the price of one Heart Scale per move.
Lilycove City – Move Deleter
The Move Deleter, located to the right of the Department Store in Lilycove City, allows you to remove any move from your Pokémon’s moveset for free.
This includes HMs, which cannot normally be deleted or replaced by other moves.
Mauville City – Ultimate Move Tutor
The Ultimate Move Tutor, found in the east hallway of Mauville City at a stall with a man and a Battle Girl, teaches an “ultimate move” to any fully-evolved starter Pokémon.

The Battle-Combo Move Tutor, located in the east hallway of Mauville City, is a Black Belt who teaches combo moves to any starter Pokémon. These moves create additional effects when used by two Pokémon during Double or Triple battles.

Mauville City – Secret Sword / Relic Song Move Tutor
In the west hallway of Mauville City you can find the Crooner’s Café.
Inside, you’ll meet an old man who serves as a Move Tutor for Keldeo and Meloetta’s signature moves. These moves transform Keldeo into its Resolute Form and allow Meloetta to transform into Pirouette Forme in battle.

Sootopolis City – Draco Meteor Move Tutor
In the northeast corner of Sootopolis City, there’s a house with an elderly couple inside.
Speak to the male Expert NPC inside, and he’ll offer to teach Draco Meteor, to a Pokémon in your party. However, he can only teach it to Dragon-type Pokémon with maximum happiness/friendship value.

Meteor Falls – Dragon Ascent Move Tutor
Inside the first floor of Meteor Falls, near the entrance on Route 114, you’ll find Zinnia’s grandmother.
She will teach Rayquaza its signature move, Dragon Ascent, but only after completing the Delta Episode. Rayquaza needs to learn Dragon Ascent to be able to Mega Evolve.

Battle Resort – Battle Point (BP) Move Tutors
There are four Move Tutors at the Battle Resort that can be found west of the Pokémon Center.
Each Move Tutor has a separate shack where they will offer to teach your Pokémon various moves in exchange for BP earned in the Battle Maison.
