Route 113 is a unique route covered in volcanic ash, situated between Route 111 and Fallarbor Town. Scattered along the route are soot piles that might contain hidden items, trainers, or soot needed to make flutes at the Glass Workshop.
On the western section of Route 113, you’ll find the Glass Workshop. Inside, the workshop owner will give you the Soot Sack. This allows you to collect soot from Mt. Chimney’s volcanic eruptions.
You can gather random quantities of soot, ranging from 5 to 100 grams, by walking through the soot piles along the route (with the higher gram amounts being much rarer to find). Once you’ve collected enough soot, return to the man inside the Glass Workshop to exchange it for useful items.
