Shoal Cave

Shoal Cave, located on Route 125, can be accessed by surfing north from Mossdeep City.

This unique cave features a high tide and low tide mechanic, making certain areas accessible only at specific times of day.

High & Low Tide Mechanic

Shoal Cave features a unique tide mechanic that alters the cave’s appearance throughout the day.

During low tide, the water recedes, revealing underground sections of the cave for exploration. Then during high tide, the cave is mostly submerged in water, making those underground areas inaccessible.

Here are the times when Shoal Cave is at low or high tide:

Ice Rock

Accessible only during low tide, the Ice Rock resides in the Ice Room in the deepest part of Shoal Cave.

This unique rock allows Eevee to evolve into Glaceon when leveled up near the rock.
