Scorched Slab is a small cave which can be accessed by surfing in a lake on Route 120. This multi-level cave features four floors and is notably home to the legendary Pokémon Heatran.

After capturing/defeating Kyogre or Groudon in the Cave of Origin, you’ll find a portal in the deepest floor of Scorched Slab.

When you interact with the portal you’ll encounter the legendary Pokemon Heatran. If you accidentally defeat it then it will respawn after you defeat the Pokemon League once more.
