The Battle Resort is a secluded island located in southeastern Hoenn. This area is only accessible after you complete the post-game Delta Episode.

This resort serves as a premier destination for competitive trainers to battle and win Battle Points (BP) to exchange for various prizes.

Most notably you’ll find the Battle Maison here, where trainers can test their skills in various battle formats. But this island also features a Day Care Center, various Move Tutors, and some other useful facilities.

The Battle Maison is the main attraction of the Battle Resort, serving as a battle facility similar to the Battle Tower from previous generations.

Being located at the heart of the island, it’s the primary destination for trainers seeking competitive battles.

Battle Challenges

Inside the Battle Maison you’ll find a variety of battle formats are available to test your skills.

By taking on the trainers in this facility, you can accumulate Battle Points (BP) as rewards for winning battles.

The building’s inner room houses the arena where battles take place. To start a challenge, speak to the receptionist located next to the PC.

There are also a handful of battle format options you can choose from.

Battle Format Description Number of Eligible Pokémon
Single Battle A one-on-one battle. 3
Double Battle A two-on-two battle. 4
Triple Battle A three-on-three battle. 6
Rotation Battle A three-on-three battle, with only one Pokémon fighting at a time. You can rotate between them during the battle. 4

Outside the Pokémon Day Care Annex

The Pokémon Day Care Annex is located east of the Pokémon Center.

Just like the Day Care on Route 117, this facility allows you to leave up to two Pokémon at a time, and it provides two main services for them:

1 – Experience – Your Pokémon gain experience points with each step you take while they are at the Pokémon Day Care.

2 – Breeding – If you leave two compatible Pokémon (based on their Egg Group) at the Pokémon Day Care, they may produce an Egg. You can receive the Egg from the Elderly NPC outside the Pokémon Day Care building.

While leaving your Pokémon at the Day Care is free, withdrawing them will incur a fee. This fee is calculated based on the number of levels they have gained during their stay. The base fee is 100 Poké Dollars, plus an additional 100 Poké Dollars per level per Pokémon.
