# Location Repeatable?
1 Verdanturf Town Poké Mart — Purchasable for 300 Pokédollars each Yes
2 Route 110 — Defeat Poké Fan Isabel in a rematch (20% chance) Yes
3 Route 103 — Defeat Poké Fan Miguel in a rematch (20% chance) Yes

The most reliably consistent way to get Heal Balls is by purchasing them from the Verdanturf Poké Mart for 300 Pokédollars each.

But you can also obtain Heal Balls by defeating Poké Fan Isabel or Poké Fan Miguel in a rematch.

Unfortunately, the chances of receiving a Heal Ball as a reward for defeating either of them are only 20%. So these rematch battles definitely aren’t the best way to get a lot of these special Poké balls.

Method #1: Verdanturf Town Poké Mart

The Verdanturf Poké Mart, located right next to the town’s Pokémon Center, is where you can purchase Heal Balls for 300 Pokédollars each.

Method #2: Rematch with Poké Fan Isabel

When you defeat rematchable trainers, you have a small chance of obtaining an item as a reward.

Poké Fan Isabel has a 20% chance of giving you one Heal Ball as a reward. You can find Poké Fan Isabel near the Trick House on Route 110, close to the west exit to Route 103.

Just check the Trainer’s Eye tab on Route 110 to see if she’s up for a rematch; if she’s ready, head back to Slateport City to reach her location:

Step 1: Follow the path on your right-hand side next to the Slateport Pokecenter, heading north to continue up the street.

Step 4: As you continue moving north, you’ll eventually reach an intersection. You should see a woman dressed in red with brown hair – this is Poké Fan Isabel.

If you explore the east section of Route 103 through its eastern entrance, you’ll come across Poké Fan Miguel. You can challenge him to a rematch using Trainer’s Eye, and if you defeat him, there’s a 20% chance he’ll give you a Heal Ball as a reward.

Step 1: From the location of Poké Fan Isabel, head towards the path on the left and enter Route 103.

Step 2: Once you’ve entered Route 103, keep heading westward.

Keep moving in that direction and you’ll pass by an Aroma Lady on your way.

Step 3: Continue moving west until you come across a pair of twins.

Look for Poké Fan Miguel, who should be standing further west wearing a Pikachu t-shirt.

Approach him and speak with him to initiate a rematch.

Ball Mechanics

When you catch a Pokémon using a Heal Ball, the Pokémon’s HP, PP, and status condition is fully restored.

Tip: Most of the Pokémon you catch will be sent straight to your PC anyway, so the Heal Ball’s healing effect is pretty much pointless. Plus, the catch rate modifier for Heal Balls is the same as regular Poke balls. So it’s mostly just worth getting Heal Balls if you want to catch a Pokémon that matches their aesthetic, like Fairy-types!

Here’s a table that compares the catch rate modifiers and prices of other frequently-used Pokéballs:

Type of Pokéball Catch Rate Modifier Price
Pokéball 1x 200
Great Ball 1.5x 600
Ultra Ball 2x 1200
Heal Ball 1x 300
