Pearls are items that sell for 700 each, making them a decent way to earn a bit of extra money. While they aren’t the most lucrative item to farm, you may find them on any Mirage Island you come across, along with sometimes dropping as a Rock Smash item as well.
Below we’ve detailed every method in Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire that allows you to get Pearls in the game.
Non-Repeatable Methods
Location #1 – Shoal Cave
| Prerequisites |
|---|
|
Step 1: Fly to Route 125. Then make your way up across the water to reach the entrance to Shoal Cave.

Step 2: If you’ve arrived during low tide, the water inside the cave will have receded.
Go down the nearby staircase and start heading northwest through the cave.

Step 3: In the western section of the current room, use your Dowsing Machine to find the hidden Pearl in the corner.

Location #2 – Route 124 (Underwater)
| Prerequisites |
|---|
|
Step 1: Fly to Route 124. Then immediately surf north until you find a diving spot.

Step 2: After using Dive, navigate north to the location where light filters from above.
Then use Dive again to resurface at the end of the path.

Step 3: Once you’re back on the surface, walk west toward the island and go up the nearby staircase.

Step 4: Continue west, circling around the crater until you reach the island’s western edge.

Step 5: At the western edge, locate the next diving spot and use Dive there.

Step 6: Underwater, move southwest past the Diver and find the hidden Pearl in the open patch of seaweed near him.

Location #3 – Route 126 (Underwater)
| Prerequisites |
|---|
|
Step 1: Fly to Route 126 and surf south along the area situated to the east of the crater.

Step 2: Surf along the diving spot, then turn the corner and continue west, still following the Dive spot’s path.

Step 3: Keep heading west until you reach the southwestern side of the crater.

Step 4: From the southwest corner, surf slightly north and use Dive just before the path straightens out.

Step 5: Once underwater, head east to the nearest seaweed patch.
In the middle of the bare seafloor, you’ll find a hidden Pearl.

Location #4 – Route 128 (Underwater)
| Prerequisites |
|---|
|
Step 1: Fly to Route 128. Then immediately surf north and use Dive at the nearest diving spot.

Step 2: Once underwater, head to the southeast corner of the area to locate the hidden Pearl.
It’s in the back corner spot shown in the screenshot below.
