Big Nuggets are valuable items that sell for 10,000 each, making them useful for earning money quickly. The most consistent way to farm them is by defeating the Mauville Ramen Bowl in the Mauville Food Court, where you can obtain up to two Big Nuggets daily.

Non-Repeatable Methods

Location #1 – Trick House (Puzzle Six)

Prerequisites
  • Complete Puzzles 1-5 in the Trick House

Return to Route 110 and visit the Trick House after you’ve completed the first five puzzles.

Inside the house, locate the Trick Master hiding underneath the bottom-right cushion.

Then interact with the scroll on the wall to enter the maze.

Then when you reach the Trick Master’s prize room afterwards, talk to him to receive your reward for navigating through the maze.

He will leave immediately after giving you the Blue Tent / Red Tent. Then interact with the cushion where he was standing on to find a hidden Big Nugget.

Location #2 – Sea Mauville

Prerequisites
  • HM03 Surf
  • HM07 Dive

Step 1: From the entrance of Sea Mauville, surf to the side of the ship up ahead.

Walk along the hallway to reach the ship’s main deck.

Step 2: Once you’re on the main deck, enter the doorway that takes you inside the ship.

Step 3: When inside, take a left and stroll straight down until you reach the end of the corridor.

Step 4: Use Surf on the water at the corridor’s end; then Dive at the spot where the water gets dark.

Step 5: Now underwater, follow the path heading south and follow along the corner.

Step 6: Continue following this path until it eventually leads you north up a small incline.

Step 7: At the end of the path return to the surface of the water by using Dive again.

Step 8: Once you’re back on the surface, head north through the corridor.

Step 9: At the end of the hallway talk to the female Tuber to obtain the Key to Room 1.

Step 10: Using Dive, make your way back to the left corridor of the ship. Use the Key to Room 1 to open the locked room on the left.

Step 11: Inside Room 1, interact with the locker to obtain the Key to Room 2.

Step 12: Use the Key to Room 2 to open Room 2, which is located directly below Room 1.

Step 13: Inside Room 2, talk to the girl with black hair to obtain the Key to Room 6.

Step 14: Head back to the right corridor of the ship and use the Key to Room 6 to unlock Room 6, which is located near the Tuber who gave you the first key.

Step 15: Inside Room 6, leave the ship using the door to the right.

Step 16: Approach the Fisherman on the nearby island and ask if he’s caught anything to get the Key to Room 4.

Step 17: Return to the ship and use the Key to Room 4 to open Room 4, which is located right across the hall from Room 6.

Step 18: Inside Room 4, get the Storage Key on the ground near the bed.

Step 19: Return outside and unlock the storage room on the side of the ship, northwest from the fisherman’s location.

Step 20: When you unlock the room with the Storage Key a brief cutscene will play. Then you can collect various items from this room, including 8 Big Nuggets.
