Pinsirite
Location Route 124 – On an isolated southwest island on the route
Use On Pinsir
Mega Evolution Mega Pinsir

Pinsir’s Mega Stone (Pinsirite) is located on a small patch of land on Route 124. You can access the Mega Stone’s exact location in a concealed area that requires Dive.

Keep in mind that you can only use HM07 Dive outside of battle once you’ve defeated the seventh Gym in Mossdeep City. So you’ll need at least a Pokémon in your party that can use Dive and Surf to find this Mega Stone.

Prerequisites

  • Obtain the seventh Gym Badge from Liza and Tate in Mossdeep City
  • Have a Pokémon with >HM03 Surf
  • Have a Pokémon with HM07 Dive

Location

When you’re ready, fly to Route 124.

Step 1: Start by getting off the island with the route sign by using Surf and traveling westward on the water.

Step 2: Keep surfing west past the first diving spot (the one you need is further west).

Step 3: As you come across Sis & Bro Rita & Sam, you can battle them or go around them to reach the diving spot in the southwest corner of the route.

Either way, use Dive on the area of water that appears darker (see the image below).

Step 4: While underwater, navigate west to the location where light filters from above. Then use Dive again to resurface.

Step 5: Back on the water, head north a bit and interact with the sparkling item on the sandy island to obtain Pinsirite.

You can also grab the Blue Shard in the center of the island while you’re there.
