The Mewtwonite X is obtainable on the ground west of the Professor’s lab in Littleroot Town after you clear the Cave of Origin events.
- Mewtwonite X allows Mewtwo to Mega Evolve into Mega Mewtwo X, a formidable Psychic and Fighting-type Physical Sweeper.
- Mewtwonite Y turns Mewtwo into Mega Mewtwo Y, a form of Mewtwo that improves Mewtwo’s strength as a Special Sweeper.
Location
After the Cave of Origin, all you have to do to obtain Mewtwonite X is to fly back to Littleroot Town. Then go to the leftmost part of the town next to Professor Birch’s laboratory.
Interact with the sparkling item in the corner (pictured below) to obtain Mewtwonite X.
