Mega Evolution Mega Glalie

To find Glalie’s Mega Stone (Glalitite) you’ll need to venture deep into the icy basement beneath Shoal Cave. You can only access this area during low tide, so you’ll need to time your visit accordingly.

You will also need a Mach Bike and a Pokémon that knows Surf to obtain the Mega Stone.

Prerequisites

Shoal Cave can be reached by surfing north from Mossdeep City. The cave features a high tide and low tide mechanic, which means that specific areas can only be reached during a particular time of day.

So make sure to visit the cave during low tide for this Mega Stone. Here are the times when Shoal Cave is at low or high tide:

Low Tide High Tide
3:00 – 8:59 (3:00 AM – 8:59 AM) 9:00 – 14:59 (9:00 AM – 2:59 PM)
15:00 – 20:59 (3:00 PM – 8:59 PM) 21:00 – 2:59 (9:00 PM – 2:59 AM)

To summarize, here’s what you need for this mega stone:

  • Have access to Mossdeep City
  • Have a Pokémon that knows HM03 Surf
  • Have the Mach Bike
  • Time your visit during low tide (adjust your 3DS or emulator’s time if needed)
Tip: To leave Shoal Cave quickly after you get the Glalitite, bring a Pokémon with Dig or an Escape Rope.
