DNA Splicers
Location	Hidden item on the ground in Gnarled Cave.
In-game Description	A splicer that fuses Kyurem and a certain Pokémon. They are said to have been one in the beginning.

The DNA Splicers are located inside the Gnarled Den. But the Splicers are hidden, so you will need to equip the Dowsing Machine to find their precise location.

You can find the Gnarled Den on the west side of Mt. Chimney. It can only be accessed while Soaring with Latios or Latias, and it will only appear if you have both Reshiram (Omega Ruby) and Zekrom (Alpha Sapphire) in your party.

Prerequisites

Defeat Primal Groudon (Omega Ruby) or Primal Kyogre (Alpha Sapphire) to unlock Fabled Cave
Raise a Pokémon to Level 100 in your team to unlock Fabled Cave
Must catch Reshiram (Omega Ruby) and/or Zekrom (Alpha Sapphire)

Note: Each of Reshiram & Zekrom are exclusive to their respective versions. So you will need to get the other one via trading or with cheats. Having both Pokémon in your team is a requirement for the Gnarled Den to appear.

Once you have both of those objectives done, the Gnarled Den will become accessible.

Location

You can find the Gnarled Den on the west side of Mt. Chimney while Soaring with Latios or Latias using the Eon Flute. And once you’re in the correct area, you will also need to equip the Dowsing Machine to find the DNA Splicers in the northwest corner of the cave.

Note: You can also find the portal to encounter Kyurem in the northernmost part of the Gnarled Den.

With both Reshiram and Zekrom in your party, here’s the step-by-step process of how to get your DNA Splicers.

Step 1: Fly to Mt. Chimney. From here, use the Eon Flute to Soar.

Step 2: While Soaring, head directly west until you find the Gnarled Den.

Step 3: After landing at the Gnarled Den, go north towards the cave, then head inside.

Step 4: Once inside, equip the Dowsing Machine and go north.

Step 5: Go as far north as you can, then at the end just turn west towards the corner. This is where you’ll find the DNA Splicers.

Keep walking around this corner until you land on the exact spot. Once the Dowsing Machine glows red, you’ll be able to pick up the DNA Splicers.

Using DNA Splicers

You can use the DNA Splicers on Kyurem to fuse with either Reshiram or Zekrom to get White Kyurem or Black Kyurem, respectively. You can also reverse this process at any time by using the DNA Splicers again on Kyurem’s fused form.

Note: You can only have one of Kyurem’s fused forms present at a time.
