Location Sootopolis City – Gift from Maxie/Archie after Kyogre or Groudon awakens.
In-game Description Aqua Suit (Alpha Sapphire) – A suit made with the collective technological know-how of Team Aqua. It can withstand any impact.

Magma Suit (Omega Ruby) – A suit made with the collective technological know-how of Team Magma. It can withstand any impact.

You will get the Aqua Suit (AS) or Magma Suit (OR) from your game’s respective Aqua/Magma team leader (Archie or Maxie) in Sootopolis City. This event is part of the main story, so this is an unmissable key item.

The Aqua/Magma Suit will allow you to enter the Cave of Origin and battle Kyogre or Groudon (depending on your version).

Location

The Suit becomes available after Kyogre (AS) or Groudon (OR) awakens in the Seafloor Cavern. A long cutscene will play out when that happens, and then you will return to Route 128.

So starting from Route 128:

Step 1: Once you exit the Seafloor Cavern, head north and use Surf.

Step 2: Keep going north until you reach Route 127, then head northwest on Route 127.

Step 3: Continue northwest on Route 127.

Step 4: Once the path splits into two, turn west and continue in that direction, surfing towards Route 126.

Step 5: Continue west on Route 126 until you reach a dark patch of water near some rocks.

Step 6: Once you reach the dark patch, turn south and then continue along it.

Step 7: Continue heading south along the dark patch.

Step 8: Keep going along the dark patch and turn west.

Step 9: Continue west, along the dark patch until the camera zooms out.

Step 10: Once the camera zooms out, face up towards the north and use Dive.

Step 11: Once you’re underwater, head forward and enter the cave in front of you.

Step 12: Inside the underwater cave, press A to use Dive again and return to the surface.

Step 13: Once you return to the surface, you will find yourself in Sootopolis City.

From here, surf to the northwest.

Step 14: Continue northwest until you reach this block of land with a set of stairs.

Step 15: Once you disembark, head north and up the first set of stairs, then take the path to the right.

Step 16: Head forward and continue up the second set of stairs near the pine tree.

Step 17: Keep moving forward and head up the third set of stairs.

Step 18: From here, take the path to the right and continue up a fourth set of stairs.

Step 19: Then follow this path around to the right, eventually going down a fifth set of stairs.

Step 20: Now just walk a short distance to the right until you run into Steven.

Step 21: A long cutscene will play, and the game will proceed automatically from this point on.

Step 22: Archie/Maxie will give you the Aqua/Magma Suit at the end of this cutscene.

With the Suit, you will be able to advance the story and proceed to face off against Kyogre/Groudon.
