Shed Shells can only be obtained as held items from wild Scraggy, Seviper, or Venomoth. Each of these Pokémon has a 5% chance of holding a Shed Shell, but you can use your DexNav to improve your odds.

Uses
The Shed Shell is a held item that gives the holder the ability to switch out of battle, even when the opponent uses trapping moves, binding moves, or abilities that are designed to prevent switching.
