You can purchase all the Incenses from an Incense shop at the Slateport Market. The market is located on the southwest side of Slateport City.
But there are also two overworld incenses that you can get: the Lax Incense and the Sea Incense. These are both also obtainable on the third floor of Mt. Pyre’s interior area. You can also buy those incenses at the Slateport Market as well.
Location #1: Slateport Market (All Incense Items)
All Incenses can be acquired from the Incense shop at the Slateport Market for 9600 dollars each.
On the southwest side of Slateport City, near the beach, you can find an open-air bazaar with several shops on either side selling unique items. This is where you can find the Incense shop with its green canopy – it has a woman in a pink top selling these items.
Location #2: Mt. Pyre (Lax Incense & Sea Incense only)
Both the Lax Incense and the Sea Incense can also be found on Mt. Pyre, a mountain located on Route 122. On the third floor of Mt. Pyre’s interior you can pick up both items from the ground.
To get there, follow these steps:
Step 1: Fly to Mt. Pyre. Then head inside and go to the northwest corner of the ground floor.
Step 2: Take the staircase leading to the second floor here (pictured below).
Step 3: On the second floor, go south, then east. You’ll find the staircase leading to the third floor in the corner.
Step 4: Take the staircase leading to the third floor here (pictured below).
Obtaining the Lax Incense
On the third floor of Mt. Pyre, head southwest from the staircase you just exited from.
You’ll find the Lax Incense just south of a Hex Maniac here (circled below).
Obtaining the Sea Incense
On the third floor of Mt. Pyre, go directly south coming from the staircase.
You’ll find the Sea Incense in the southeast corner of this floor, just on the right of a Backpacker NPC (circled below).

| Full Incense | The Full Incense allows Snorlax to produce Munchlax Eggs. In the Pokémon Day Care, if a Snorlax holds a Full Incense and is paired with a Ditto or a compatible Pokémon, a Munchlax Egg will be produced instead of a Snorlax Egg.
In battle, a Pokémon holding a Full Incense will always move last in its priority bracket regardless of its Speed – an effect similar to the Lagging Tail. |
| Lax Incense | The Lax Incense allows Wobuffet to produce Wynaut Eggs. In the Pokémon Day Care, if a Wobuffet holds this item and is paired with a Ditto or a compatible Pokémon, a Wynaut Egg will be produced instead of a Wobbuffet Egg.
In combat, the Lax Incense reduces the accuracy of moves targeting its holder by 10% – an effect identical to the Bright Powder. |
| Luck Incense | The Luck Incense allows Chansey and Blissey to produce Happiny Eggs. When breeding in Pokémon Day Care, if a Chansey or a Blissey holding this item is paired with a Ditto or a compatible Pokémon, a Happiny Egg will be produced instead of a Chansey Egg.
In combat, the Luck Incense doubles the amount of money earned at the end of a battle if its holder participates during the encounter – an effect similar to the Amulet Coin. |
| Odd Incense | The Odd Incense allows Mr. Mime to produce Mime Jr. Eggs. In the Pokémon Day Care, if a Mr. Mime holding this item is paired with a Ditto or a compatible Pokémon, a Mime Jr. Egg will be produced instead of a Mr. Mime Egg.
In battle, the Odd Incense boosts the power of its holder’s Psychic-type moves by 20% – an effect similar to the Twisted Spoon. |
| Pure Incense | The Pure Incense allows Chimecho to produce Chingling Eggs. In the Pokémon Day Care, if a Chimecho holding this item is paired with a Ditto or a compatible Pokémon, a Chingling Egg will be produced instead of a Chimecho Egg.
When held by a Pokémon in front of your party, the Pure Incense decreases the chance of encountering wild Pokémon by 1/3 – this effect is similar to the Cleanse Tag. |
| Rock Incense | The Rock Incense allows Sudowoodo to produce Bonsly Eggs. In the Pokémon Day Care, if a Sudowoodo holding this item is paired with a Ditto or a compatible Pokémon, a Bonsly Egg will be produced instead of a Sudowoodo Egg.
In combat, the Rock Incense boosts the power of its holder’s Rock-type moves by 20% – an effect similar to the Hard Stone. |
