In Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire there are two ways to obtain Magmarizers.
The first method to trade 32 Battle Points (BP) for a Magmarizer at the Battle Maison’s Exchange Service Corner.
Or you can use Thief to steal Magmarizers as held items on wild Magby, which are only found on a specific Mirage Mountain. Each Magby only has a 5% chance of holding a Magmarizer, but you can use your DexNav to improve your odds. This method is a bit more tedious but it is free.
Uses
When a Magmar holding a Magmarizer is traded, it will evolve into Magmortar. Once the trade is completed the Magmarizer is consumed and disappears.
Tip: Stealing from Wild Magby
You can get Magmarizers from wild Magby found in the Mirage Mountain located north of Mossdeep City.
Just use your Eon Flute and soar to the exact Mirage Island marked in the image below:
Upon reaching the Mirage Mountain, you’ll be able to find Magby in any patch of tall grass in the area.
