Super Secret Bases have a capture the flag game in Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire. This page covers how this game works, how to capture flags, and also the rewards you can obtain by capturing flags.
Flag Capture Basics
Flag capture is a daily event that consists in picking up flags from other players’ Super Secret Bases. You will always find the Super Secret Base’s flag near the computer (see the image below).
Simply press “A” while facing the flag in order to capture it.

Like all other daily events, flags will reset at midnight, allowing you to return the following day and capture the same flag.
Alternatively, you can also obtain flags from your Secret Pals, up to 30 per player. But for this method to work, your Secret Pal must have already collected flags that same day.
Flag Capture Ranks & Rewards
You can earn rewards based on your rank. This rank will increase based on the number of flags you’ve captured.
| Rank | Flags Captured | Reward |
|---|---|---|
| Bronze | 30 flags | Blackboard |
| Silver | 100 flags | Jukebox |
| Gold | 500 flags | Mood Lighting |
| Platinum | 1,000 flags | Confetti Ball, Garchompite |
In order to claim the rewards, you have to visit the Secret Base Guild’s headquarters in Fortree City. The guild’s headquarters is the last treehouse on the bottom-half of the city’s walkways.

Inside the Secret Base Guild’s headquarters, talk to Aarune near the entrance.
If you meet the prerequisites he will raise your rank and also give you the respective rewards.

Raising your rank will also make additional decorations available at the Secret Base Guild’s shop.
You can find the shop on the left side of the guild’s headquarters.
