Finding the Legendary Beasts

  • Entei: from 20 minutes up to 39 minutes past the hour
  • Raikou: from 00 to 19 minutes past the hour
  • Suicune: from 40 minutes up to 59 minutes past the hour
Prerequisites
  • Obtain the National Dex
  • Have either Ho-Oh or Lugia in your team

This page details how to find the three Legendary Beasts Entei, Raikou, and Suicune.

Location

You will find Entei, Raikou, and Suicune in Trackless Forest. This is a Mirage Spot east of Rustboro City.

But they will only spawn if you have Ho-Oh (Omega Ruby) or Lugia (Alpha Sapphire) in your party.

Step 1: Start by flying to Rustboro City. Then while in Rustboro, use the Eon Flute.

While soaring above the city, simply rotate your character clockwise.

Step 2: Keep rotating clockwise, past Route 116, and you will find Trackless Forest as shown in the screenshot below.

Press “A” to land.

Step 3: In the forest, follow the linear path heading northwest and continue until you get to the end of the area.

Step 4: You will then find a portal at the end of the area. Press “A” on the portal, then select “Yes” to fight one of the legendary Pokémon.

The one that spawns will be determined by the exact minutes past the hour you are when you get here. Refer to the table above for the exact timing.

Note: If you fail to catch a legendary Pokémon on the first try, you can make them respawn by re-defeating the Elite Four.
