The Battle Maison is a post-game battle spot where you can fight in a variety of Pokémon battles to obtain Battle Points (BP) to exchange for items.

This area becomes available once you obtain the S.S. Ticket and gain access to the Battle Resort after clearing the Delta Episode. You will find the Battle Maison on the north side of the Battle Resort.

The Basics

In the lobby, talk to the attendant in the center to enter one of the battle formats. There are five options to choose from:

  • Single battles
  • Double battles
  • Triple battles
  • Rotation battles
  • Multi battles

After winning 19 consecutive fights in the same battle format, you will take on a Battle Chatelaine.

Once you defeat the Battle Chatelaine for the first time, you will then unlock the format’s Super course. Unlike the normal course, you will need to win 49 battles in a row to challenge the Chatelaine in a Super course.

Win streaks in the normal course are capped at 20, but will extend beyond 50 in the Super course.

Note: Normal and Super courses have separate win streak counts. Losing a battle in a Super course will not wipe your progress in the normal course.

Battle Points

After winning a battle, you will be awarded Battle Points (BPs). The amount of BPs earned after each battle depends on the course and on your current winning streak.

The table below lists all BP brackets:

Streak Course BP Earned
1-10 wins Normal 1
Super 2
11-19 wins Normal 2
Super 3
20 wins Super 3
21-30 wins Super 4
31-40 wins Super 5
41-49 wins Super 6
51 onwards Super 7
Note: Battle Chatelaines will reward you with 20 BPs in the normal course, and 50 BPs in the Super course.

Battle Maison Rules

The number of Pokémon you can carry in your team will depend on the format:

Format Number of Pokémon
Single battle 3
Double battle 4
Triple battle 6
Rotation Battle 4
Multi Battle 2

Other than the number of eligible Pokémon per team, all five battle formats share the same set of rules, which are listed below:

  • The Battle Maison has a Lv. 50 cap. Pokémon below Lv. 50 will keep their current level, while Pokémon above the level cap will be temporarily set to Lv. 50.
  • You won’t be able to use items from your bag during or between battles.
  • Battles will not award experience/EVs.
  • All battles will have the Set format.
  • Single usage held items will be automatically restored after every battle. However, stolen items will be automatically removed after every battle.
  • Your team will be automatically healed after every battle.
  • Battle Chatelaines’ Pokémon have max IVs across all stats, and 252 EV.
  • You can interrupt your challenge at any time. Doing this will not break your current winning streak, and you will also be allowed to make changes to your team.

The following Legendary Pokémon are also banned from the Battle Maison:
